IT Network Specialist

Convergint is looking for a full‑time, enthusiastic, results‑driven and forward‑thinking IT Network Specialist to join our amazing culture. As an IT Network Specialist, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

• Installation, configuration, and support of a local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system.
• Maintain network hardware and software.
• Monitor network to ensure availability for all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability on assigned projects.
• Provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, systems audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation regarding Electronic Security Systems (ESS).
• Handle larger and more complex projects.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

• Excellent programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; maintain awareness of, and seek to meet, the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
• Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• 7‑10 years computer network installation and maintenance.

The anticipated hourly compensation of this role is $46‑$60/hr salary may vary by location or remote status. Individual pay rates will vary depending on the job, department, and location, as well as the applicant’s skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, and education.
