Functioning under moderate supervision, the Clinical Nurse II is, at minimum, a competent practitioner. This level clinician utilizes the nursing process in providing patient care and patient/family teaching. The practitioner organizes and implements safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care in controlled settings with predictable outcomes. Patients served may include neonate through adult-geriatric.

Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department under moderate supervision.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and education for patients from neonate through adult-geriatric.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and achieve predictable outcomes.
- Support ongoing professional growth and development as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO) journey.
- Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland; successful completion of required hospital, nursing and unit orientation, including BLS certification and medication certification. ACLS required (PACU, ICCU, ED), NALS required (Obstetrical-Nursery) or eligible for completion within six months. Telemetry Nurse must pass a basic arrhythmia exam and recognize critical rhythms. - Licenses/Certifications:
Licensed Registered Nurse in Maryland; BLS certification. ACLS (PACU, ICCU, ED); NRP required (Obstetrical-Nursery) or eligible for completion within six months. Certification in specialty is preferred.
- Pay Range: $41.12 - $55.73/hr, depending on years of prior experience.
