Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Nights Location

Maryland

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30.

We are seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team for night shifts. Our community hospital offers a supportive environment where you will work in a 4‑Bed Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) unit, providing care to neonates, adolescents, and adults. You will participate in approximately 50 to 60 deliveries each month.

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor and support patients throughout labor and postpartum recovery.
• Participate in stabilizing and transferring patients with early gestation complications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
• Train and educate new parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge processes.
• Float within the Labor & Delivery and Mother‑Baby units as needed.

• Minimum of 1 year of L&D experience; 2 years preferred.
• Active Maryland RN or Compact License.
• BLS, ACLS, NCC C‑EFM (to be provided at the time of submission), NIH, CPI certifications.
• Preferred skills: LDRP training, experience with mother‑baby care, and ability to circulate and assist with deliveries.
