Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner; NP or Physician Assistant; PA La Plata - PRN

Job Description

This full‑time position covers the La Plata and Southern Maryland region of Maryland, with occasional platform‑wide coverage.

• Serve as clinical leaders in our centers—delivering medical care and fostering patient experiences.
• Provide care for patients ages one and older, treating conditions such as upper respiratory infections, sprains, lacerations requiring sutures, employee health physicals, work‑related injuries, and preoperative evaluations.
• Work 12‑hour clinical shifts (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) in a fast‑paced urgent‑care environment.
• PRN providers must provide at least two days of availability each month (including two weekend days) and one day per month as the emergency on‑call provider.

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in good standing with the state of Maryland (or licensure pending approval).
• Active NPI number, DEA registration, and CDS license required (or in process of obtaining).
• Prior clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, intensive care, or primary care is strongly preferred.
• Proactive, growth‑oriented mindset with genuine passion for delivering high‑quality patient care; intellectually curious, enthusiastic about urgent care medicine, and open to feedback.
