This position is primarily open to those who are interested in teaching the Construction curriculum.

• Indiana Teaching License
• Rules 46-47:
  Industrial Technology K-12
• Rules 2002:
  Industrial Technology Education OR Technology Education with high school setting
• Background check authorization (cost $15), cleared rating
• Federal I-9 form completion, tax forms, direct deposit form with voided check
• View training videos at the Educational Services Center (~1 hour)

• Instructs students in subject matter, utilizing various teaching methods such as lecture, demonstration, and audiovisual aids.
• Prepares teaching outline (syllabus/lesson plans), assigns lessons, and corrects homework.
• Integrates and utilizes identified Essential Skills in lesson planning, presentation, and assessment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of State Standards and Indicators through integration as instructional benchmarks.
• Integrates and utilizes adopted curriculum materials appropriate to grade level.
• Administers tests to evaluate pupil progress, records results, issues reports to inform parents.
• Keeps attendance records.
• Maintains discipline in the classroom and provides adult supervision throughout the building.
• Participates in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
• Performs related duties, such as sponsoring special activities or student organizations, assisting pupils in selecting course of study, and counseling them in adjustment and academic problems.
