Our client is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered components for the aerospace industry and is seeking a Process Engineer to join its investment casting operation in Northwest Indiana. This role will be responsible for the metallurgical integrity, quality, and cost performance of complex superalloy castings used in critical aerospace and power generation applications. The Process Engineer will partner closely with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to support day-to-day production, troubleshoot technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, minimizing rework, and increasing overall process efficiency.
In addition to supporting existing production programs, the Process Engineer will play a key role in developing and refining casting processes for new products, collaborating with customers on design-for-castability initiatives, and helping bring new components from concept through production. Strong problem‑solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization are critical for success.
