Howmet Aerospace in LaPorte, IN is seeking a TIG Welder for 2nd and 3rd shifts to weld and repair castings, dies, molds, fixtures, and equipment per weld procedures and customer specs. Starting wage is $27.07/hr with a raise to $28.39/hr after 12 months.
Training on 1st shift (6am-2pm) for up to 6 months, then transition to 2nd or 3rd shift. Responsibilities include weld repair/production welding to Class A standards (FPI and X-Ray), aluminum work, copper backups, and setup of gas and power
