Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in critical industry components, is seeking a Metal Cell Operator to join their team. As a Metal Cell Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting metal finishing and inspection processes.

Job Title: Metal Cell Operator

Location: Laporte, IN

Pay Range: $23

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday
- Friday 6am - 2pm)

• Work as a team member to process rough castings to meet customer specifications through cleaning, finishing, and inspection.
• Operate hand grinding tools, metal cleaning equipment, and blast units to prepare castings.
• Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards.
• Adjust castings using presses, heat, or dimensional tooling to meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and quality protocols.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret product criteria and activity instructions.
• Basic knowledge of gauging tools and finishing techniques.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods, with reasonable accommodations available.
