Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Quality Correctional Care seeks licensed professionals to lead a team of medical staff while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. The role plays a critical part in advancing care in the northern region of Indiana. The position offers a flexible/hybrid schedule and travel accommodations.
Job Requirements- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of employment.
- References and cleared background check.
- Willing to travel to multiple correctional facilities in Northwestern Indiana (Porter, LaPorte, St. Joseph, Starke, Jasper).
- Full‑time Monday‑through‑Friday (40 hours per week) with flexibility for weekend work every 4‑6 weeks.
- Preferable: correctional experience;
Family Practice, Urgent Care, or ER Medicine background.
Leading a team of medical staff; providing patient treatment; advancing correctional medical services; coordinating care of individuals from initial interaction with law enforcement to community transition.
