Outside Sales Representative - Building Materials - Base Salary to 60k/year - La Porte, IN

Our client, a stable company known for its strong customer focus and supportive work environment, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team.

• Develop and grow business within construction and industrial markets by building strong customer relationships, presenting solutions, and driving sales growth.
• Meet customers in the field, understand their needs, and provide ongoing support to ensure long-term partnerships.

• Develop new sales opportunities and grow existing customer accounts
• Present product solutions tailored to customer needs
• Build, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships
• Meet with customers regularly within an assigned
• Actively listen to customer challenges and recommend appropriate solutions
• Assist customers in selecting products that meet their requirements
• Prepare and provide accurate product quotes
• Place customer orders and ensure timely follow-up
• Provide ongoing customer support and service
• Manage and develop key customer relationships
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities
• Communicate effectively with the internal customer service team
• Maintain professionalism and a strong company presence in the field

• 3+ years of sales experience or equivalent experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree, Trade School, or relevant industry experience preferred)
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Travel required within a 60-mile radius

• Base salary to 60k/year plus uncapped commission (estimated OTE of 85k - 95k/year first year)
