Security Officer Campus Patrol – La Porte, IN. This part‑time position protects clients across various industries including Aero/Defense and more.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.60 per hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access control, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support access control procedures for restricted areas, materials, and operations in accordance with site protocols.
• Support daily operations by observing for suspicious behavior, reporting hazards and/or operational issues, and assisting with emergency notifications, evacuations, and other security‑related response duties when needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
