Building Maintenance, Maintenance Worker
We are seeking a reliable, handy, and self-motivated Part-Time Maintenance Worker for our small Charter School. In this role, you will ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and fully operational. You will tackle everyday building issues, perform routine inspections, and handle minor repairs across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems. The ideal candidate works well independently, takes pride in their work, and knows when a complex issue requires an outside licensed contractor.
General
Skills:
Experience: Proven experience in general trades, property maintenance, or as a handyman.
Technical Skill: Basic, practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
Tool Proficiency: Comfortable safely operating common hand tools, power tools, and lawn equipment.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose building issues independently.
Reliability: Punctual, trustworthy, and capable of working with minimal direct supervision
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy materials up to 50 pounds

Capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.
Tolerance for working in both indoor and outdoor environments across varying weather conditions.
