The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company policies.
This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
** Responsibilities
* ** Develop and execute procurement strategies for rotating equipment, spare parts, and maintenance services.
* Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
* Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
* Monitor market trends and assess risks to maintain competitive pricing and supply continuity.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and establish purchasing plans.
* Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and company standards in all procurement activities.
* Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
* Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
* Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or payment disputes with suppliers.

* Qualifications:
** The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum 7 years in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
