Job DescriptionAssist the teacher(s) in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Assist in the implementation of classroom programs, including the FOCUS Program, self‑help, behavior management and instruction. Work under the general supervision of the supervisor and the immediate direction of a certified teacher.
Job Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid SBEC Educational Aide certificate
- Associate's Degree or 48 or more college hours or NCLB Para Educator Certification issued by San Jacinto College or other local educational entity
The District contributes $400/month to the cost of employee‑only health insurance, which is $175/month greater than the state required amount of $225/month.
Assignment & CompensationAssignment: 187 Days
Pay Grade: 3
Minimum: $14.31 per hour
Midpoint: $17.24 per hour
