Level II RT CR​/DR Technicians Rope Access -Baytown, TX

Position Summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking certified Level II RT CR/DR Technicians with Rope Access for a full-time position in Baytown, TX.

• Train RT assistant, run the film and grade the film per specific procedures directed by the customer.
• Set up and calibrate equipment and interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT level I personnel.
• Organize and report the results of NDT tests.
• Generate NDT data, organize data, and report findings. Evaluate data for disposition.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or college credits preferred.
• Current ASNT NDE Level II certificate in the NDT method responsible (RT) and adequate knowledge of the method.
• 12 months of prior NDT experience.
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
• Ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
• Ability to follow and communicate precise directions and procedures of the customer on the project.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must possess Rope Access certification.
• Ability to generate technical data orally, in writing, and electronically as required.

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
