City of La Porte is seeking a Fire Inspector & Prevention Specialist to perform fire prevention, life safety and code enforcement across commercial, industrial, multi-family and residential occupancies. You will inspect plans, respond to complaints, and educate the public on fire safety.
The role reports to the Fire Marshal, requires knowledge of NFPA standards and IFc, and TCFP certification preferred.
