Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Manager for a full-time, on-site role located in La Porte, TX. The HR Manager will oversee employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and policy development while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The individual will manage various human resource activities, from onboarding and training to performance management and benefits administration. This role requires hands‑on collaboration with leaders and employees to cultivate a positive work environment and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, and Training & Development
• Strong background in Compliance Management and Policy Implementation
• Skills in Benefits Administration and Employee Retention Strategies
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, Data Collection, and Reporting
• Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Conflict Resolution abilities
• Demonstrated Leadership and Strategic Planning experience
• Knowledge of employment laws and best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP) preferred
• 5 years of experience in an HR management role, with industrial or environmental sector experience being a plus
