Opportunity

The Client Service Manager (CSM) is responsible for coordinating and tracking the flow of manufactured and purchased parts to ensure adherence to project schedules in a manufacturing environment. This role serves as a key link between production, procurement, engineering, and suppliers to proactively identify risks, resolve delays, and keep projects on track.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed production and procurement schedules aligned with project milestones
  • Track the status of manufactured parts through internal work centers to ensure on‑time completion
  • Monitor purchased parts from purchase order release through delivery, expediting as needed
  • Proactively identify schedule risks, material shortages, and bottlenecks; recommend and implement corrective actions
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams (production, planning, purchasing, engineering, quality) to align priorities
  • Communicate project status and issues regularly with external teams (Sales) and/or directly to the customer
  • Maintain accurate schedule and status information within ERP/MRP systems and tracking tools
  • Support project managers by providing clear visibility into part readiness and schedule impacts
  • Participate in daily/weekly production and project review meetings
  • Generate and distribute schedule performance reports, including on‑time delivery metrics and risk summaries
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in scheduling, expediting, production control, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment, or
  • 10 years of experience working in high paced repair, service center, or manufacturing environment for high‑speed rotating equipment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and purchased‑part supply chains
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Net Suite, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working cross‑functionally and with suppliers
  • Experience supporting engineered‑to‑order or project‑based manufacturing
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
  • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP)
