Production Associate (Cylinder Loader) - 2nd Shift
Location:
La Porte, TX - Miller Cut-Off Rd - Filling industrial
- Support safe and compliant handling of high‑pressure and liquid gas cylinders.
- Prepare and verify outbound shipments, inspecting truck inventory, pallet straps, and reporting daily status.
- Coordinate and organize gases and cylinder sizes onto pallets, sorting incoming empty cylinders by size and gas group.
- Maintain a safe work environment by understanding hazards associated with gases, cylinder sizes, and contents; read and interpret cylinder labels and color‑coding.
- Safely operate warehouse/material‑handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- High School Diploma or general education degree.
- Routine lifting of 25‑75 lbs.; occasional lifting of 76‑100+ lbs.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods (up to 8 hours) and perform frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motion.
- Valid U.S. employment authorization; no visa sponsorship needed.
- Ability to read and comprehend written and computer‑generated documents.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Forklift certification or ability to become forklift certified.
- Prior forklift experience.
