Production Associate; Cylinder Loader

Job Title and Location

Production Associate (Cylinder Loader) – La Porte, TX, Miller Cut-Off Rd – Filling Industrial.

Monday – Friday, 4:00 am to 12:30 pm. 1st Shift.

Responsible for the safe and compliant handling of high‑pressure and liquid gas cylinders, including loading/unloading, verifying outbound shipments, organizing cylinders, understanding gas hazards, and operating warehouse equipment.

• Load and unload cylinders onto and off trucks, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local regulations and Airgas safety procedures.
• Prepare outbound shipments for delivery trucks, verify inventory, inspect and replace straps on cylinder pallets, and report daily shipment status.
• Coordinate and organize gases and cylinder sizes onto pallets to minimize load footprint; sort incoming empty cylinders by size and gas group.
• Maintain safety by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and color coding, and understanding hazards associated with gases and cylinder contents.
• Safely operate warehouse/material‑handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs (occasionally 76–100+ lbs), stand up to 8 hours, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, grasp, and repeat motions.
• Valid employment authorization in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship required or available.
• Good reading and comprehension of written and computer‑generated documents.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Forklift operator with certification (required); prior forklift experience is preferred.
