Facility Technician II

Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking a Facility Technician II to add to the team. The Facility Technician II for La Porte, TX will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This position will wear C level PPE and work with the pumping team to pump drums, will work in QC for chemicals, operate forklifts, perform manual labor, and manage inventory.

Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday. Overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Pay: $21 DOE.

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Load and unload route trucks;
• Wear level C PPE;
• Perform manual labor of drum washing;
• Pump drums;
• Work with chemical profiles to identify matches to tankers;
• Use forklifts routinely to sort pallets and unload;
• Use camlock and hardlines to connect/disconnect tankers;
• Manage inventory order and receiving process;
• Maintain general housekeeping and keep a clean work area;
• Ensure waste is stored in a safe and proper manner;
• Resolve issues with materials in conjunction with office team staff;
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required;
• Experience working in C Level PPE preferred;
• Experience working with chemical profiles preferred;
• Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc.;
• 2+ years of related labor and computer experience;
• Ability to drive trucks within facility;
• Forklift skills preferred or willing to learn.
