HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Health and Safety Supervisor to work at a client facility in La Porte, TX.

Industrial setting – refinery, petro‑chemical, and other similar facilities.

The Health and Safety Supervisor is responsible for inspecting work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations. The role oversees ongoing work sites to ensure personnel comply with company and client safety requirements, promotes a positive safety culture, and manages emergency response, site remediation, and training in all weather conditions. This position presents a valuable opportunity for transitioning military personnel to leverage their skills and training upon returning to civilian life.

• Maintain health and safety as the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct health and safety inspections, audits, and interventions; investigate and observe safety conditions; manage safety permits and required paperwork.
• Develop, manage, and coordinate employee safety training programs.
• Apply job loss analysis (JLA), job hazard analysis (JHA), and manage safety equipment inspection, testing, and supply.
• Provide leadership and guidance on Clean Harbors specific processes and expectations.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents; manage injury and accident follow‑up and reporting.
• Coach, manage, and supervise teams to enhance safety responsibility and performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with client safety departments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in a wide variety of assignments and direct personnel in operational procedures to complete assignments.
• Inspect assigned work areas and equipment to identify compliance issues.
• Document safety inspections, cite dangerous areas, procedures, or practices, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred knowledge of First Aid, Confined Space, Fall Protection, and DISA standards.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Construction Site Safety Tech certification (CSST).
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations.
