About the roleThe Senior Product Quality Control Inspector ensures that product quality specifications comply with corporate and customer standards. This role supports the implementation of QA/QC policies and oversees product assessments and vendor evaluations. This job profile is intended for support-level staff that generally works autonomously and only requires closer supervision in non-routine situations.

Sulzer Turbo Services (STS) is an independent provider of services and repairs of critical turbo machinery. We specialise in the repair, overhaul, and replacement of parts for high-speed rotating equipment such as steam and gas turbines, compressors, expanders, and other industrial rotating equipment found primarily in the Oil & Gas, Pipeline, Petrochemical, Ammonia, Nitric Acid, Fertilizer and Power Generation markets.
Position SummaryProvide inspection support to the quality control department.
Responsibilities- Inspecting new parts with a wide range of metrology equipment (Micrometers, CMM, ATOS blue light scanning, ect.)
- Operating quality control hardware and software programs.
- Evaluating inspection results per manufacturing/repair drawings.
- Returning rejected parts to appropriate shop members.
- Providing feedback to improve department processes.
- Support the drafting department with instructions as needed.
- Have exposure to precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, etc.)
- Have been exposed to, or willing to learn digital equipment like CMM
- Make logical decisions and provide inspection feedback to the machinists
- Be proactive and solution oriented
- Be familiar with CAD and component drawings
- Be familiar with GDT per ASME Y14.5M-2009.
- Have clear communication, both written and oral.
- Be able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
