The I&E Maintenance technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC/Delta V programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

** RESPONSIBILITIES*
* + Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner

+ Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions

+ Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations

+ Maintains accurate records and logs as required

+ Installs new system controls (including power wiring)

+ Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers

+ Services and replaces motors and lighting

+ Performs general maintenance

+ Other duties as assigned

** QUALIFICATIONS*
* + HS Diploma or Equivalent

+ Instrumentation degree, or certification preferred

+ 4+ years of I&E experience in a plant environment preferred

+ Solid instrumentation skills

+

Experience with PLC Programming experience - Delta V is preferred

+ Honeywell experience

+ Distributed control system (DCS) experience required

+ Installing VFDs (Variable Frequency Drive) required

+ Mechanical aptitude and experience

+ Experience working with 480v and below

+ Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics

+ Proficiency in process and instrumentation diagrams (PID)

+ Team player willing to assist where needed

+ Ability to prioritize work

+ Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, lift, climb and stand for long periods of time
