Scaffold Builder Helper (La Porte, TX) – Austin Industries.

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect it as instructed by the scaffold builder.
• Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structure.
• Properly secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secure the scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
• Adhere to all OSHA, site‑specific and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting and navigating the scaffolding.
• Pass materials and tools to Journeyman as needed.
• Dismantle scaffolding when properly communicated to do so.
• Other duties as assigned.

Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

No minimum education requirements.

6+ months experience in an Industrial setting preferred.
