General Maintenance Associate

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate.

Monday – Friday. Training 7am-3:30pm. After training 12pm-10pm; OT as needed—possible weekends.

• Operate power tools, including grinding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
• Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company safety operating procedures.
• Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts, and accessories.
• Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites.
• Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aspects of the Fusion equipment.
• Maintain Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts.
• Follow proper check in and check out procedures for rental equipment and accessories.
• Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance.
• Follow housekeeping policies.
• Follow all company mandated safety policies.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including correct use of PPE and wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

• Relevant automotive repair or equipment repair highly preferred.
• Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus.
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic equipment.
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical or mechanical components.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment, trucks, forklifts.
• Ability to work in a shop or field environment.
• Result‑focused performance in a fast‑paced, customer‑service environment.

Pay Range: $17.41 – $26.11 per hour. Starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.
