Location:
La Porte, TX - 11426 Fairmont Pkwy - Bulk cryo logistics
Drive commercial motor vehicle (tractor‑trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off‑load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed. Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to supervisor.
Complete and submit reports as required by DOT and/or Airgas company policy.
- Drive tractor‑trailer to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and address maintenance needs.
- Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.
- Complete required DOT and company reports.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 3+ year experience as driver of tractor‑trailer vehicles.
- Class A CDL with Haz Mat and Tanker endorsements.
- High school diploma or GED, two years technical college or military technical experience.
- Three years of Haz‑Mat or Tanker experience.
- Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases.
