Job Title
Child Development Specialist
Requirements / Qualifications- Associate Degree or higher in Child Development, Early Child Development or related field
- Possess the appropriate California Teaching Permit or one of the following Child Development Permits:
Teacher, Master Teacher, Site Supervisor, or Director Permit.
- First Aid and Pediatric CPR Certification
- Previous working experience with families in planning family goals and child educational goals desired.
- Bilingual in Spanish;
Cantonese; etc. desired
- Experience with effective communication, working with teen parents in a multi-ethnic setting desired.
- Certification (Child Development Associate Teacher Permit)
- Copy of Transcript (Proof of AA Degree and Child Development Coursework)
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two professional; one personal)
- Resume
Candidate must be prepared to meet criminal background, state health, and licensing requirements at time of hire.
