• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills

Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. Duties include assisting customers, cleaning display cases, cleaning shelves, and cleaning, filling, and rotating the self‑serve displays. The position requires work across a variety of hours, including nights and weekends, and the ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, and stooping for long periods. Physical requirements include lifting up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Visual and auditory requirements also apply to this fast‑paced grocery store environment.
