QCD associates also help run a national non‑profit, the GSF Foundation.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as a key player in the warehouse team, moving, managing, and delivering products efficiently and safely.
- Operate material handling equipment: electric pallet jacks and reach forklifts (certified).
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
- Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, Vo‑Collect headset, WMS) to track orders and inventory.
- Follow QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely; secure pallets and verify shipping documentation.
- Assist dock operations, staging and organizing shipments.
- Use the voice‑directed picking system (Vo‑Collect headset) to pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Follow FEFO procedures for food products.
- Comfort working in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience with warehouse management systems, electric pallet jack, and Vo‑Collect headset.
- Electric pallet jack certification and at least 6 months of safe operation experience (preferred).
- Valid electric pallet jack certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation (for picker).
- Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation.
- Use a voice‑directed picking system accurately (for picker).
- Full‑time, on‑site in a temperature‑controlled warehouse (dry, cooler, freezer:
-5 °F to 38 °F). - Primarily a 4‑day work week, with shifts typically starting between 3 AM and 5 PM; weekend and holiday availability required.
- Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- $26 per hour.
