Assistant Property Manager

The Madison Club is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join the Residential Services Department.

This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations:
The Madison Club, set in of La Quinta, California.

The Assistant Property Manager assists the Lead Property Managers in providing a first-class level of care to the members and their residences.

• Assist the Lead Property Manager in providing a first-class level of care to the members and their residences.
• Aid the Lead Property Managers in overseeing the overall operation of the property and the day-to-day implementation of those policies, procedures, and programs that will assure a well-managed, well-maintained residence within the established management.
• Effectively communicate with the Lead Property Managers, schedule vendors, and follow up with vendors to make sure all tasks are completed.
• Communicate clearly with the homeowners and the contractors.
• Maintain composure while dealing with high stress situations and reassure members that their problems will be taken care of in a timely manner.
• Contact the proper vendors for repairs and follow up with them as well.
• Multitask and solve problems; we have a lot of residences we take care of.
• Pay attention to detail and be able to lift 50lbs; we are always moving furniture and boxes around to accommodate the members' requests.
• Be onsite at all times during your shift for the members and vendors.

• Golf Cart Maintenance

• Prepping Unit for Members & Sales tours
• Grocery Runs
• Newspaper & Coffee deliveries
• Ability to complete open and closing procedures
• Write a summary "daily" to keep Staff & RS Manager informed.
• Ability to email members, vendors and staff
• Being onsite during your shift for house calls
• Communication (Spa treatments, Fitness, personal training, Transportation, Hikes, dinner reservations and grocery runs)
• Assisting other departments is a must, when slow and only when approved by the Residential Service manager.

6am-2pm for the opener and 2-10:30pm Wednesday-Saturday, and 12-8pm on Sundays for the closer. Holidays, special events, Desert Trip, Coachella and Stagecoach are all mandatory working days. No exceptions.

• A valid Driver's license
• Must be over the age of 21 – due to purchasing Alcohol
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

The Company’s good faith estimate of the rate expected to pay for this role is $25 hourly and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
