At JPW Industries, we are looking for a Senior Demand Planner who can turn data into direction, insight into action, and plans into results.
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Demand Planner to play a critical role in shaping our demand planning strategy and strengthening our Sales and Operations Planning process. This position partners across Sales, Engineering, Channel, Product Management, and Finance to deliver accurate forecasts, actionable insights, and alignment across the supply chain. As a Senior Demand Planner, you will lead SKU level forecasting across multiple planning levels and time horizons. You will evaluate demand drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and provide data backed recommendations that influence operational and financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop operational forecasts across multiple aggregation levels and time horizons.
- Analyze historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and demand drivers to build accurate demand plans.
- Build, evaluate, and refine statistical forecast models and compare outputs to sales, margin, and historical performance.
- Conduct WMAPE and bias analysis and manage forecast exceptions.
- Maintain forecast data and planning profiles within SCP 4.0.
- Create, track, and report demand planning KPIs with clear recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the monthly demand review as part of the S and OP process.
- Partner cross functionally to validate assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
- Support new product launches, line extensions, discontinuations, and promotional planning.
- Communicate forecast variances, risks, opportunities, and confidence levels to key stakeholders.
- Maintain item history, resolve data anomalies, and apply appropriate forecasting methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within demand planning and SIOP.

You are a strong analytical thinker who can connect data to business strategy. You communicate clearly, influence effectively, and bring structure to complex challenges. You are comfortable working across functions and driving alignment in a dynamic environment.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sales Management, or related field required. - APICS, CPIM, or CSP certification preferred.
- Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Forecasting, Demand Planning or SIOP. - Advanced Excel skills with experience managing and analyzing large data sets.
- Working knowledge of demand planning systems required.
- Proficiency in Power BI and SQL preferred.
- Strong understanding of statistical forecasting methods and their financial and operational impact.
- Demonstrated experience conducting WMAPE and bias analysis.
- Proven ability to influence cross functional teams at multiple organizational levels.
- Self-motivated problem solver with a track record of driving process improvement.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to implement methodologies and deliver measurable results.
