Compensation: $90,000 -$100,000 Base (D.O.E.) + Benefits+ Eligibility for up to 12% bonus
OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Design Engineer with in-depth Product Development experience to join an industry-leading team. The ideal candidate will also have working exposure to automation, robotics, or Mechatronics. As a part of this organization, you will also be involved with designing new products, improving existing products, and continually improving design related processes. You will also be involved in design analysis and assisting in the department's development process by ensuring design are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable.
You will collaborate with high-level engineers to coordinate design efforts as necessary to deliver industry leading product innovation to well-known clients. Creating new concepts and designs of commercial complex products and equipment.
Independently creating complete part and assembly designs and drawings for all manufactured and purchased parts (In some situations, including prototypes and models.)
Outlining complete bills of material to manufacture product.
Responsible for creating appropriate manuals and documents.
Interacts frequently with internal and external parties as necessary on design related matters.
Designing and implementing fixtures and tools.
Suggesting changes in procedures and standards to facilitate work and maintain quality.
Providing approval products for release in some scenarios, including maintaining all relevant data records.
Involvement in mentoring, coaching or leading others in design related efforts
Managing projects to include but not limited to scope, design reviews, schedule, and budgeting.
Assisting in managing department workload and project assignments.
Leading the development, enforcement, utilization, and maintenance of internal engineering standards.
May be required to travel between locations for projects as needed.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in related field
4+ years of related experience
2+ years of experience focused on Electrical Engineering
Exposure to working with Inventor, Pro E, or similar software
Impeccable attention to detail
Design experience focused on restaurant equipment or appliances is preferred.
