We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to develop, design, and improve mechanical systems and components for complex engineering applications. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to create practical, reliable, and manufacturable designs while supporting projects from concept through implementation.
Position Responsibilities Mechanical Design & Development- Develop and refine mechanical designs, components, assemblies, and systems based on project requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
- Evaluate existing designs and recommend modifications to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Apply engineering principles and established design standards throughout the development process.
- Perform calculations, evaluations, and design reviews to validate mechanical solutions.
- Analyze design requirements, constraints, materials, and manufacturing considerations.
- Identify potential design issues and develop effective technical solutions.
- Support mechanical engineering projects from initial concept through production and implementation.
- Coordinate design activities, schedules, and technical deliverables.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations to project teams.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of design or production-related issues.
- Work closely with manufacturing, electrical engineering, quality, procurement, and other teams.
- Communicate technical information clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners when needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to products, processes, and engineering practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Several years of progressive mechanical design engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience creating and interpreting detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD and mechanical design software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
- Additional CAD, mechanical design, manufacturing, or project management certifications are a plus.
- Salary Range: $90,000–$120,000 annually.
