Collection Specialist - Up to $60,000 - LaVergne - Work/Life Balance - Permanent Direct Hire

Our client, a trucking industry leader for over 20 years, is adding a Collection Specialist due to growth. Work/life balance, with flexible starting times. On-site in LaVergne, TN. Excellent benefits, including 401k match and three weeks of PTO to start. The salary is up to $60,000. Permanent direct hire.

Overview of the Collection Specialist:

• The Collection Specialist will manage the collections process, including customer calls, emails, texts, payment applications, account monitoring, and delinquency reduction.
• Conduct follow‑ups on past‑due accounts, document customer interactions, and escalate problem accounts when needed.
• Reconcile accounts, research and resolve discrepancies, process refunds/adjustments, and handle documentation.
• Maintain strong customer and internal relationships, meet departmental goals/metrics, and perform additional tasks supporting Accounts Receivable and Credit & Collections operations

Preferred Qualifications for the Collection Specialist:

• 2+ years of collections experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in LaVergne, TN
