Compensation: $80,000 to $85,000 + annual bonus opportunity (10% target, up to 20% based on company performance)

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a highly automated and climate-controlled light industrial manufacturing facility operating 24/7. This is a clean, technology-driven production environment with advanced automation and robotics. Our client is seeking a polished and experienced HR Manager to support a large hourly workforce and partner closely with site leadership.
Job Description:
The HR Manager will serve as the on-site HR leader for a 24/7 production facility supporting approximately 450–500 employees, including over 300 hourly associates and a temporary workforce managed through a VMS platform. This individual will lead a small HR team and act as a strategic partner to manufacturing leadership. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a round-the-clock manufacturing setting and is comfortable navigating flexible schedules and shift-based operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with plant leadership to assess workforce trends and plan for long-term talent and operational needs.
- Oversee full-cycle HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and offboarding.
- Lead and develop two direct reports (HR Generalist and HR Coordinator).
- Provide guidance and resolution on complex employee relations matters and escalated HR concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment regulations.
- Manage staffing processes, including requisition planning, sourcing strategy discussions, and interview coordination.
- Support temporary workforce planning and vendor management system (VMS) oversight.
- Facilitate new hire orientation, benefits enrollment, and other employee programs.
- Partner with senior leaders, including executive-level operations leadership, on organizational planning and workforce initiatives.
- Utilize HRIS and applicant tracking systems to maintain accurate employee data and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent years of directly related experience).
- Minimum 4 years of HR Generalist experience plus 1–2 years in an HR leadership capacity.
- Experience supporting a 24/7 manufacturing or production-based environment strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing direct reports.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (EEO, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, AAP).
- Experience with I-9 administration and open enrollment processes.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (People Soft preferred; other systems considered).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and executive presence.
- AVA assessment required prior to submission.
- Interview process includes an initial virtual interview followed by an onsite meeting with senior leadership.
