SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Laser Fabricators / Sheet Metal Fabricators for Anchor Fabrication, a manufacturing company in La Vergne, TN. We are looking for mechanically inclined candidates with sheet metal fabrication experience and the ability to read blueprints. This position involves operating fabrication equipment, reviewing job packets and blueprints, working with sheet metal parts, performing measurements and inspections, and using a computer to track production information.

Pay: $17.50–$20.00/hour

1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM | Starting at $17.50/hour

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM | Starting at $18.50/hour

Overtime opportunities may be available based on production needs. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! • Operate fabrication machinery according to production instructions and job requirements.
• Review job packets, blueprints, and tally sheets to determine the type and quantity of parts needed.
• Work with sheet metal materials throughout the fabrication process.
• Use a computer to access and enter production and job information.
• Inspect and measure completed parts to ensure they meet specifications.
• Prepare move tags and documentation for parts moving to the next operation.
• Perform basic shop math including fractions, percentages, ratios, and measurements.
• Follow written, verbal, diagram, blueprint, and production instructions.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Sheet metal fabrication experience required.
• Blueprint reading experience required.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with manufacturing equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately measure and inspect fabricated parts.
• Good basic math skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, diagram, and production instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 35 pounds.
• Previous laser fabrication or similar metal fabrication experience is strongly preferred.
