Perform production support functions. Meet the daily production support requirements deadline by efficiently moving materials, while maintaining pick up deadlines.

• Responsible for reading, understanding and following work instructions pertaining to the tasks of moving materials.
• Perform in a cross-functional environment, coordinating with other departments such Quality, Warehouse, and Materials.
• Safely operate reach truck to pick and put away materials.
• Move materials to appropriate locations.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of recyclable materials.
• Assist with bailing materials for recycling processing.
• Ensure accurate inventory management.
• Actively seek ways to improve processes.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping environment.
• Reach truck driver is required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Computer literate in a Windows Environment;
  Outlook, Excel.
• Basic math skills.
• Legible handwriting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be self-motivated and possess initiative.
• Flexible; able to change direction with short notice.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to complete projects under tight deadlines.
• Able to perform repetitive motion with hands and arms.
• Qualified to become certified on a forklift.
• Able to quickly resolve or expand problems that arise.
• Effective communicator in the English language, both orally and written, as the position requires email communication with customers.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, stoop and bend.
• Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.
• Able to operate a pallet jack.
• Able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
