Position Summary:Responsible for repairing and testing servers per work instructions and ensuring product quality.
Essential Functions:- Conduct repair work on all server products to meet commercial standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform final testing of all server products to ensure they meet finished goods quality requirements.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, including initial diagnostics of servers to identify issues.
- Report and accurately record defective parts in the shop floor database in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the test engineering team to analyze root causes of product failures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Achieve daily repair output metrics.
- Follow instructions and guidance from Senior Technicians and Team Leads to improve repair productivity and efficiency.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with PC, System, and Server Repair and Testing.
Skills and Abilities:
- This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems and related software tools.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish/Mandarin preferred.
- Ability to operate independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Close vision required and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Ability to stoop, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks as part of repair work.
- Prolonged periods of standing on concrete floors and moving about production and warehouse areas.
- Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments occasionally.
