Role Summary

The Liquid Cooling Test Operations Supervisor leads daily L10 server and L11 rack testing operations within a high-volume server manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising technicians executing structured system-level validation of liquid-cooled servers and racks and ensuring efficient progression through required test stages.

The Supervisor drives execution discipline, manages rack progression through the test flow, and ensures failures are properly contained and escalated. The role ensures systems meet functional, performance, and stability requirements prior to customer shipment.

This position maintains strong floor leadership while coordinating closely with Debug, Test Engineering (TE), Product Engineering (PE), Quality Engineering (QE), IT, and Program teams to resolve technical blockers, stabilize testing environments, and meet production commitments while protecting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Shift Execution

· Lead and supervise daily activities of Test Technicians performing L10 server and L11 rack testing.

· Maintain strong floor presence to ensure technicians follow work instructions and test procedures correctly.

· Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate production priorities, safety updates, and operational risks.

· Assign technicians to test stations and manage workflow across the liquid cooling test area.

· Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to maintain execution discipline and technical competency.

· Address performance concerns and reinforce accountability across the test team.

· Maintain appropriate staffing coverage and support scheduling based on production demand.

Production & Throughput

· Drive daily and weekly output targets for liquid-cooled servers and racks.

· Monitor WIP levels and prioritize aging systems or SLA-driven production requirements.

· Manage rack roll-ins and progression through test stages to prevent bottlenecks.

· Balance workload across test stations to maintain continuous rack progression.

· Identify throughput limitations related to infrastructure, test failures, or process instability.

· Implement corrective actions to stabilize production flow and maintain delivery commitments.

· Provide production status updates and communicate operational risks to leadership.

Quality & Compliance

· Ensure strict adherence to work instructions, structured test flows, and revision-controlled procedures.

· Monitor test yield, first-pass yield (FPY), retest rates, and defect trends.

· Support containment actions and root cause investigations with Quality Engineering and Engineering teams.

· Enforce ESD controls, safety procedures, and 5S standards within the liquid cooling test environment.

· Maintain readiness for internal and external audits including ISO-based quality systems.

· Ensure accurate documentation and traceability within production and quality management systems.

Technical Oversight

· Oversee execution of structured validation processes for L10 server testing and L11 rack testing.

· Ensure technicians follow required validation flows including FST, RLT, RAML, Seizo, PXE, and customer-specific validation stages.

· Review system logs, diagnostic outputs, and failure codes to guide troubleshooting direction.

· Escalate recurring failures related to firmware, configuration, thermal behavior, system instability, or infrastructure issues.

· Monitor test station health and ensure availability of required power, cooling, and network infrastructure.

· Ensure accurate capture of test data within MES, ERP, or internal test data systems.

Cross-Functional Coordination

· Coordinate with Debug teams to transfer systems requiring hardware repair or advanced diagnostics.

· Partner with Test Engineering to resolve test script issues, station configuration problems, or validation process improvements.

· Work with Product Engineering to address configuration or hardware design issues impacting validation.

· Collaborate with Quality Engineering on failure analysis and corrective actions.
