• Extensive Wine & Spirits sales knowledge with a detailed understanding of promotion and sale.
• WSET I or greater certification preferred.
• Cicerone Level 1 certification preferred.
• Passion and enthusiasm for Wine & Spirits and Craft Beer.
• Strong desire for continued education in Wine, Spirits, and Beer.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Strong aptitude for sales with proven success.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and VIP Software.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and achieve goals.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong commitment to customer service and relationships.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Maintain a professional appearance.

• Prepare for the work day and work week by organizing appointments, pulling the correct samples, and setting objectives for designated accounts ahead of time.
• Increase overall wine and spirits distribution by looking for wine BTB/BTG, spirits, cocktail menu placement opportunities.
• Call on assigned accounts to increase sales volume, merchandise, monitor prices, and manage shelf space.
• Manage daily retail inventory levels using sales history, competitive activity, promotional activities, etc.
• Prepare appointments and objectives for supplier ride‑ups.
• Sample customers on products (wine, spirits, and beer).
• Merchandise with paper POS and book permanent POS.
• Work with other service reps, merchandising team, management, and our customers to maximize sales.
• Introduce and sell‑in new brands and packages to assigned retailers (wine, spirits, and beer).
• Build business relationships with a weekly call frequency on every account following the ATCO selling process.
• Maintain published product freshness standards in assigned retail accounts by monitoring and rotating stock.
• Cultivate a superior knowledge of ATCO's portfolio as well as selling techniques (wine, spirits, and beer).
• Create strong relationships with our customers by providing dependable, friendly, and appreciative service.
• Work with the accounting department to resolve any AR, invoicing, or payment issues.
• Attend bi‑monthly wine and spirits product and sales training meetings.
• Complete monthly safety classes and all assigned training classes.
• Fulfill pre‑established programs and objectives set by management and chain account teams.
• Comply with all government and ATCO job processes, work rules, policies, and instructions as they apply to your position.
• Demonstrate ATCO's mission, vision, and values in all responsibilities.
