Position and LocationIndustrial Sales Manager – Nashville, TN
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy that meets company and regional goals for a 15% market share.
- Lead and mentor industrial inside and outside sales representatives through one‑on‑one reviews and a mentorship program.
- Ensure outside sales representatives meet or exceed activity standards to become the vendor of choice for all clients.
- Maintain close contact with all clients within the assigned market to deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
- Build and sustain high‑level management relationships with key and strategic industrial accounts to secure long‑term growth.
- Provide ongoing communication and timely feedback to the Regional Vice President and Vice President of Industrial Sales regarding sales performance goals and plan execution.
- Personally manage five or more key accounts within the region to drive sales and margin growth incentives while maintaining the relationship with the decision maker at each account.
- Build and maintain key industrial partner vendor relationships to support growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with the local branch manager to recruit, hire, teach, train, coach, and mentor new sales associates.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
- Five or more years of outside sales experience.
- Passionate individual with a strong desire to succeed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage a broad range of customers, vendors, and executive leaders.
- Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and a competitive spirit.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
