Strada Services is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Manager to lead, train, and inspire our growing team of skilled plumbing technicians. If you're passionate about quality service, team development, and operational excellence, this is your chance to take the next big step in your career.
What You'll Do
As our Plumbing Service Manager, you'll lead a dynamic and fast-paced team, overseeing residential and commercial plumbing services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Schedule, coordinate, and offer operational assistance for technicians to satisfy customer needs and standards.
- Review technician's work to ensure quality and meet the established standards, techniques, and safety requirements.
- Provide training programs to ensure that technicians are properly educated about the latest service techniques, equipment, general working conditions, and safety procedures.
- Regularly communicates with the dispatch to ensure that technicians are appropriately scheduled according to the level of skill, efficiency, and training needs.
- Monitor and evaluate budgets, targets, and objectives to ensure company profitability.
- Specifies and ensures that the parts needed are ordered promptly to guarantee meeting deadlines. Keep up to date with proper truck stock and maintenance.
- Communications with vendors and suppliers on warranty problems, product recall reports, and product operating issues.
- Collaborate on the company and departmental goals and objectives with other managers.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the plumbing industry.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety standards, and service techniques.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driver's license.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with tools and equipment at heights.
- Availability for occasional after-hours or emergency service needs.
