Warehouse Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Distribution Manager, the Warehouse Associate ensures that parts and or products are picked and packed for delivery to ICEE customers. Warehouse associates on a daily basis will use an electric pallet jack or boxing up a parts order. Supports the Distribution Manager and Distribution Leads in a positive and accountable way and represent The ICEE company in a professional and courteous manner.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Pick orders
* Operate a pallet jack
* Prep, box and palletize for shipment
* Unload/load incoming and outgoing trucks
* Maintain work area and general upkeep of warehouse/office facility

COMPETENCIES:

To perform this job successfully, the Warehouseman must be self-motivated and have the ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
* Customer relations, interpersonal relationships, team relations and service-oriented
* Excellent organization and time management skills
* Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner
* Great oral and written communication skills
* Must be comfortable performing basic mathematical functions as well EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE *

Must possess and maintain a valid Real-r's License.
* Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 75 lbs. required
* Minimum of two (2) years warehouse and/or customer service experience
* Forklift certification a plus
* Ability to pass a background check
* Must have steel-toed shoes (ICEE provides uniforms) Pay from: $20/hour - Pay is commensurate with experience, education, skills, training, and certifications
