Operations Associate – La Vergne, TN

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring an Operations Associate to join the Operations team. The role ensures efficient distribution center and warehouse operations, emphasizing safety, training, and continuous improvement.

• 1 year of work experience in at least one previous job.
• 6 months of experience that included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, or typing on a keyboard.

• Check shipment quantity against bill of lading and inspect the condition of cartons and skids, signing as received or completing discrepancy, overage, shortage, or damage paperwork as necessary.
• Work shipments based on receipt, separating cartons by title, placing cartons on the conveyor, counting and inspecting books, and completing breakdown tickets.
• Unload cartons from the conveyor line and sort them onto pallets based on warehouse zones.
• Use reading comprehension skills up to a high school level.
• Use writing skills up to a high school level.
• Use basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction) for math tasks.
• Pay attention to detail.
• Work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a warehouse environment.
• Perform repetitive manual tasks.
• Work independently or collaborate in a group environment.
• Be flexible and multi‑task based on workflow demands.
• Meet and maintain production standards.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Exercise general physical abilities: walking and standing continuously; lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs; gripping/grasping continuously; bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulder, typing/keyboard frequently; work in a range of temperatures; work designated shift including overtime, time before or after the shift and/or weekends.

Pay: $17.50/hr plus a $2.00 shift differential.

Sunday–Thursday 3:30 pm–12:00 am with overtime as required.
