Material Clerk

We are seeking a Material Clerk to oversee incoming and outgoing products, manage inventory and documentation, and ensure timely shipping commitments within our warehouse and stockroom.

• Stage inventory and maintain kitting systems for parts and orders utilized in production areas and assigned project orders using production schedules.
• Utilize pick lists to pull and kit all parts necessary for assigned production, project orders, or customer orders.
• Maintain accurate and timely completion of material transactions; manage inventory levels.
• Perform daily cycle count and major variance root cause analysis; assist with annual physical inventory.
• Plan, prepare, and pack products for customer shipments.
• Select materials for packing or protecting products and determine brace blocking to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Check against packing list for inclusion of all components and parts.
• Restock merchandise.
• Work individually and as a team to develop and implement quality and efficiency improvements.
• Examine products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned through identified and established process improvements.

• At least one year of warehouse experience and/or training with relevant experience.
• Comfortable with handling up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable operating an automated order scanner.
• Comfortable operating a forklift, hand truck, cherry picker, and other equipment in the warehouse area.
