Wine and Spirits Picker
Ajax Turner Company, is hiring a Wine and Spirits Picker/Auditor. Ajax Turner Company, founded in 1961, is a multi-generational, family owned and operated business located in La Vergne, Tennessee. Ajax Turner Company proudly distributes and represents Anheuser-Busch, top selling local, regional and import brewers, premium non-alcoholic beverages, and a great selection of award-winning wines and spirits from all over the world.
Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday
Sunday: 10AM - end of shift
Monday-Thursday: 3PM - end of shift

Using the Company's Voice Pick System for building pallets of products and daily order fulfillment
Utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF inventory management for product storage and replenishment
Audit other picked loads for accuracy before loading onto trucks
Taking ownership of wine & spirits area ensuring precise product location and monitoring operational equipment status
Ensuring total area security at all times, limiting access of unauthorized personnel
Maintaining high standard of accuracy in product put-away and order fulfillment processes
Organizing, staging, and loading service truck loads for next day deliveries
Completing daily operational and inventory reports as requested by management
Assisting Night Warehouse Team when need be in normal picking operations
May be required to audit picked loads before loading and after picking the product
Read route load sheet to properly hand stack and load product onto each route after being audited
Maintaining proper cleanliness of wine & spirits warehouse areas
Complying with all government and ATCO job processes, work rules, policies, and instructions as they apply to your position
Demonstrating the ATCO's mission, vision, and values in all responsibilities
QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent degree required
Valid driver's license required
Warehousing or distribution experience preferred
Forklift & MPE certified
Excellent safety record and understanding of the importance of workplace safety
Must have an injury and accident free mentality
Capable of meeting the listed physical requirements, see physical requirements schedule above
Ability to effectively and safely operate a pallet jack, hand truck, and similar types of equipment
Resourceful and willing to take initiative with the ability to quickly solve problems
Friendly, courteous, works well with others, and maintains a professional appearance
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Self motivated with an attentiveness to details and a positive can-do attitude
Ability to work flexible hours, hours will be higher or lower during different seasons
Has enthusiasm for the job with a willingness to learn
Assumes responsibility for personal development and training
Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Basic mathematical skills
