Role Description
The Warehouse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in La Vergne, TN. This position is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records. The Warehouse Manager will lead and schedule warehouse staff, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies. Day-to-day duties include monitoring stock levels, optimizing storage layouts, coordinating with logistics and procurement teams, and managing equipment use such as forklifts.
The role also involves tracking performance metrics, identifying process improvements, and supporting smooth, timely order fulfillment. Current Operation is 1 shift, 20 in & out trucks per week, warehouse team 1 supervisor & 6 FL Drivers, with the intent to double in volume.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Stock Control and Inventory Control to maintain accurate stock records and prevent discrepancies.
- Candidates should possess solid Inventory Management skills to manage stock levels, cycle counts, and replenishment processes.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management experience to oversee warehouse workflows, staffing, and process optimization.
- Candidates should possess safe and certified Forklift Operation skills and familiarity with other warehouse equipment.
- Relevant experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Ability to work on-site in La Vergne, TN and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in basic computer and warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices; experience with continuous improvement or lean methodologies is beneficial.
