Job duties include safely loading and unloading products using reach trucks and forklifts, ensuring precise transport to storage areas, machines, and loading docks. Maintain forklift equipment by storing, fueling, cleaning, and performing light maintenance. Use RF scanners to accurately manage inventory and update records. Efficiently load Full Truck Load (FTL) and Less Than Truck Load (LTL) trucks. Stack, organize, and move large bulk items within the facility.

Ensure accuracy and proper documentation of product shipments. Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.

Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse or powered industrial truck training is beneficial. Experience requirements include experience operating reach trucks or similar powered industrial equipment. Ability to safely move, stack, retrieve, and organize palletized inventory. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling practices. Ability to accurately identify products, inventory locations, and shipping documentation. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and inventory accuracy.

Preferred qualifications include previous experience operating reach trucks in distribution centers or warehouse environments. Forklift certification or experience operating additional powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or inventory software is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, dependability, and strong teamwork are well positioned for success as a Reach Truck Operator.

Physical capabilities include the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely work in warehouse environments with elevated storage racks and moving equipment. Ability to maintain awareness of surroundings while operating powered industrial vehicles.
