Work Schedule
- Office hours are Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM with occasional changes for events. Schedule is dependent on students' availability and Federal Work Study award. Student employees will work an average of 5 to 11 hours per week.

Job Description Summary
- Assist the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership staff as the Fraternity and Sorority Life Student Lead. The main purpose of the Fraternity and Sorority Life Lead is to promote and gain exposure for the Fraternity and Sorority Life Community.

Specific Duties - 1. Create and distribute marketing materials, send bi-weekly Fraternity and Sorority Life Newsletter, and assist with other program support materials for Fraternity and Sorority Life. (35%) 2. Assist with planning and execution of but not limited to meetings, Involvement Fair, Fraternity and Sorority Life Conference, Fraternity and Sorority Life Week, Fraternity and Sorority Life New Member Orientation, Office of Student Engagement and Leadership Award Ceremony, and other important programming.

(30%) 3. Attend weekly meetings with the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership Coordinator. (15%) 4. Assist with administrative duties (i.e. check email account, making copies, etc.) (15%) 5. Maintain a clean and organized Fraternity and Sorority Life Student Lead workspace. (5%)

Minimum Qualifications
- Meet and maintain a 2.0

GPA for the semester and cumulative. Positive attitude and friendly. Must be an initiated member of a ULV-recognized social fraternity or sorority. Organization and time management. Must be comfortable and capable of interacting and speaking in public settings and facilitating meetings. Must be a current ULV student.

Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to know, understand and work with University of La Verne policies and procedures. Good oral and written communication skills. Develop spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. Experience utilizing Canva, Mail Chimp, and other design platforms.

Benefits Summary
- Employees are eligible for the following benefits:
One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year and capped at 48 hours. University of La Verne Defined Contribution Retirement Plan – can contribute employee voluntary contributions, excluding wages derived from federal work study funds. In accordance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week, will be eligible for medical coverage through the University of La Verne.

Covered under the University of La Verne Workers Compensation Insurance.
